The Drapery Falls
Believe it or not, this shot was taken right in the middle of the San Diego zoo! Don't believe me? Next time you're there, take a nice walk over to the elephants and find this tree near their enclosure.
The magic of this photo comes from the post-processing. This was an interesting photo in color. But after a conversion to black & white, simulating a "red" filter, it became dreamy and magical.
If you're wondering about the name, I was listening to Opeth during post-processing (The Drapery Falls is one of their songs). It was the inspiration for what came to be.
Photoshop edits:
- Conversion to B&W, altering levels in channels to simulate the use of a "red" lens filter
- USM
- Levels adjustment mask
