Journey's West Site

This site is absolutely one of my favorites. Not only is it a beautiful "showcase" site, but the engine that runs it is entirely custom. We built 100% custom gallery software for this site as we found that "third party" gallery software just wasn't capable of doing what our client wanted.

The custom gallery software includes a number of cool features which allow the client to specify precisely how the images should be displayed on the front page. It automatically watermarks every image, and allows for large file (watermarked) images to be reviewed by prospective art buyers. Most importantly, the administrative "backend" of the gallery allows the client to easily and quickly organize images, preview art, and set prices according to his existing workflow.
